70002 is to be based at Stoke Gifford for driver training.
Does anybody know whether it is currently parked in a visible position?

Looks and sounds surprisingly cool.
Regarding the smoke, im not sure how they run in train engines at the start of their life, but if its like many other engines it will burn a bit more oil (the video shown mostly blue smoke, ie oil) for a while while the piston rings bed in.

They look cool I think, because they are so damned ugly, in a good lokking sort of way
cant wait for the model with sound of course even though its not my modeling era.

I quite like their appearance really, they seem to combine the looks of a typical rugged-looking American loco, with a cab at each end...
