I was browsing on Nat Pres earlier, these times are for Nunney Castle and Pitchford Hall on Monday 28th. I presume they will run smokebox first to Taunton.

Also King Edward I (with ECS) is due to leave Bristol for the WSR at about midday today.

Waited in vain for the two steam engines.

This was the highlight.

It seems fans of steam come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. :D He didn't seem too bothered by you to hang around to have his picture taken.

Was very surprised to see the weasel (?), I missed it the first time as it darted back into some long, but had time for a couple of shots when it reappeared. The second picture was blurred. To be honest I don't think that I've seen many of these little beasts but at least I now have a record.

The UK Steam site shows that the return Light Engine move of Nunney Castle and Pitchford Hall scheduled for today is off.

But both engines move on Tuesday Oct 20th, preceded by the King on Monday Oct 19th.

Visited WSR this afternoon, the King was in steam being checked over by crew facing correct way but support coach stuck on front. Nunney was stood lifeless nearby obviously not going anywhere soon. When is King moving ( looked very imminent )and is it back to Barton Hill or beyond.

The King's moving to the SVR tomorrow (Monday) please see Michael's (mow) post above for the timings. If work permits I might try to see 6024 at Hewish.

On time at Filton Abbey Wood, had intended to photograph it near Yatton, but had to change plans.

I was just walking -to- school and missed it by a hair's breadth as well. I saw it, but couldn't get the camera out the bag quick enough. I won't rush to upload my laughable 'disappearing into the distance' shot.
