Morning everyone,
Does anyone have any images showing the track plans of Barrow Road and the immediate area surrounding the shed as it would have been from approx the late 50s onwards?
Thanks in advance.
Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

Ordnance survey historic mapping should be able to supply you with a 1957 version of the 25 inches to the mile version of the area, this would have the tracks on it.

I thought you were on about Staple Hill

My parents used to live in the Downend / Kingswood areas.

Morning Horace, et al,
I've just received an email from the Ornance Survey, stating that their historic mapping service closed a year ago

.
As I live in Cambridgeshire, would any member local to Bristol be willing to pop into the Bristol Central Library to ask if they hold the relevant maps, and, if so, obtain photocopies?
If the Library does, I'd be more than willing to pay for any expenses incurred with travelling and copying etc.
Very Best Wishes,
Bob.
