I would assume there's pathing problems the other way. Probably engineering work on the Badminton line.

Handy for me though, goes right past my front door 8)

Dr Day's Junction is a long way into Bristol to take that train as well

I'll probably head off to either Patchway, Cattybrook or Pilning. Depends what the rest of the family can be persuaded to do :?

If I go to Pilning I can get the wife to get some video footage of the trains as they come down from Patchway Tunnel. These trains tempting you into Bristol??

Nope

Maybe 47815 would...but otherwise I'm not really fussed about diesels

With the possible exception of a Deltic

Eek... blurry shot! I really need a camera where I can set the shutter and film speed manually. :?

The pics I got of the 47s are fit only for the bin. It was very dark and the rain was lashing down.

A friend of mine says that Fuji A-series cameras aren't very good and you should go for the F-series

She had a F710 and it took brilliant pictures...the new model is the 810 and I'm thinking of getting it

This was taken with the F710 and is one of my favourite photos

(I "borrowed" it while she was trying out her SLR)

I've been thinking about this a lot lately and have narrowed my choices down to three:

http://www.steves-digicams.com/2004_reviews/z2.html

now all I need is the cash

I'm going to have to go digital soon...I used to get ColourCare photo CDs from Supasnaps, but they closed. Then I went to Sketchly's and got the same until Kodak took over their labs, and then I had to get Kodak Picture CDs. Then Sketchly's closed down and I went to Jessops who have now stopped doing Kodak and have a terrible quality new one of their own, so I went to Brooks, who have no stopped doing Kodak. Superdrug is the only place I know here that does the Kodak CD now

Apparently Kodak have closed down nearly all their labs because digital photography has taken so much business away from them :(

I've been looking around and I think I might go for the Fuji S5500

I want to learn how to use it properly though, know any good beginners' courses in digital photography? :?

Proper college courses I mean, not online guides...I wanna do it properly
