For those of you who want to see another visiting A4 Pacific at BTM the UK Steam website has picked up that the July 16th Steam Dreams tour to Minehead has been resheduled/rearranged to go to Bath and Bristol. The unofficial WSR site notes that the train is heading somewhere else.

Bittern was to have taken a train over to Minehead, but the tour has now been rearranged to Bristol on July 16th. Whether the problems are due to the recent problems with the track on the WSR or the unavailablity of the new timetable or Network Rail paths is open to question.

I haven't yet seen any times listed, either on UK Steam or on Steam Dreams website.

Why is it all the A4's only seem to operate in this area on Weekdays...when I'm at work

UK Steam has posted times for this train.

Looks as if it leaves about 40 mins later than the run with SNG.

I had wondered how fast it was running at lunchtime, Bittern seemed to crawl along, with a very faint exhaust trail.

Judging by the photograph, maybe she whistled because you were somewhere where you should not have been?
