Saltford station

Has anyone got any photographs of Saltford station? There doesn't seem to be any on the net.
This is the original forum of the Bristol Railway Archive that existed between 2003 and 2013. I finally rescued it after it seemed unrecoverable after a large crash. I have made it available for viewing. It is locked, all posts to the new version please!

Yes pretty much. Looking at http://www.old-maps.co.uk in 1887 the station buildings are just to the west of the bridge that crosses The Shallows road, with trees shown where the clearing is now, on the 1933 map sidings are shown where the clearing is (from near the footbridge to the station building).Splodge wrote:I didnt know Saltford ever had a station. Where was it, near the bottom of the hill by the speed camera on the A4 just as you head out of Saltford? Looks like clearing there.
Kelston station was on the mangotsfield to greenpark line and closed in 1949...chippydrew22299 wrote:Thanks Chippy, I have sent you an email![]()
I think Saltford had two stations, one on the GWR line and the other on the line that goes to Green park station, although I think the other station was called Kelston.
Map addicts like me, might like to see: http://tinyurl.com/4lhqby where there is a map of Saltford dated 1919.BristleGWR wrote:...Looking at http://www.old-maps.co.uk...
