Got myself down to FAW to see the tour go through...lack of light was always going to be a bit of a prob however was doing ok until about 15mins before when some large storm clouds started to roll on in.
A few trial shots with the camera at various settings proved wasn't ever going to produce a very good pic so with fading light, on with a preset and let the camera do the work.....

Wish I'd taken a look at those detailed timings and actually spotted 1015 was coming back through Bristol and not across the desert as outbound.
I was sat at home doing work stuff at the very moment a pair of Maybachs were climbing Filton Bank.
What a missed opportunity .... Thanks for the pic though. Nice

I was just loading up the car with my gear for a gig when it went up Filton Bank. Sounded light she had a red light half way up and did a standing start on the hill. Quite amazing sound!

It wouldn't have been with that in front of it.
If only it could have buffered up to that unit and given it a helpful Maybach shove

Arrived at Totnes Station car park just as Western Champion was leaving the station, 10 minutes or more ahead of time(?).

Here's my unfortunately blurred pic. Serves me right for moving about the bridge while waiting
Taken at the Oldmixon Crescent bridge.
