Reported on SW gen (Yahoo) that both lines at Flax Bourton are closed due to flooding. (2.30pm)

It is not the first time the line has been flooded, it happens now and then. Years ago the Engineer whose length included the cuttings at Bourton told me that when the line floods it is because the waters are trying to find the shortest way to the sea and before the Avon gorge was formed the waters which now flow down the Avon did flow to the sea as the flood waters do now.So he said!
