Earlier today, 2 x 150/1's at SPM. Although devoid of branding' looked like ex Central Trains stock, no's 121 & 127 iirc.

Anyone know if these are moving down here, or were just passing through?

they're silverlink stock.

Been here for a week or so now, they're part of the 10 (by 2009) that are getting sent FGW's way (and being kept for the forseable future)

Also look out for 142's going through bristol, and down south for the devon metro, as a replacement for the 158's going to northern

Just noticed a message on SWRG from Tom Hampson. It states that 150.127 arrived on Mon. 12th and 150.121 arrived on Thurs. 15th.
They are on short term lease to cover for the low availability of the class 143s. There is an option for an extension to the lease. <BJ>

If they are on short term why have they gone to be refurbed already?

Would have to question your sources knowledge on that personally.

They were due to arrive next year, but are arriving early. And are here to stay. Theres another 8 to come before 2009. Presumably as replacements for 143's

Having seen the post on SWRG, I think we can be confident of the source as I'm pretty sure he's a techie at SPM.

as i said, fair enough then.

As i canceled my subs to SWRG after my email going wah, dont suppose you could post on there for me asking if the rumours are true about FGW not losing any 158's to Northern? As aparently the DFT have told Northern to get all there 142's out of store, and working again as they arnt getting our 158's!

Wow, that is good news!
Does that mean that no more bendy buses will be headed this way? I shall be straight out Weds to get a copy of LIAR to see what they say!

150/1+153 (Silverlink + Cornwall liveries) tootled past on the Cardiff Central service whilst walking home from work past FAW last night.
