There is an additional train on Sunday Oct 15th listed on the Pasttime Rail website.
Is there any information when 6024 might be back out on the mainline?

The next scheduled trip out on the mainline will be the hastily arranged Torbay express on Sunday 14th October.
6024 is due to head the William Shakespeare from Paddington to Stratford on Avon and return on Saturday the 20th October.
Im sure the 6024 society will have the King up and running ASAP.

After the final Torbay Express on 14th October, the King is booked to run from Barton Hill to Old Oak Common on the 19th. 'uksteam' mentions that this will be an empty stock movement. This could prove very interesting. Watch this space. <BJ>

Would the empty stock be the stock that has been used all summer on the Torbays?

No. That returned to London some time ago. I would imagine that the King will return to OOC with the latest stock utilised on the final Torbay Express. <BJ>
