Will platform 2 ever be used for passenger use again? I remember in 2003 the platform 2 signs were actually put up again(I don't think they're there now), so I assumed the platform was soon to be used again. It would make perfect sense to use them for terminating/departing WSM-Bristol/Bristol-WSM services. Or better still, Bristol-Portishead services(if that ever happens).
Also, anyone know when the platform was last used for passenger use? I have a memory of once departing from platform 2 in a DMU bound for Weston when I was a kiddie in the late 70's/early 80's.

Returning Platform 2 to use is included in this years Network Rail business plan. No idea as to timescale though .....
