always used to be tues & thurs when i last seen them regularly.

I think it's because everyone 'knew' the trains ran Tues & Thurs is why they started changing the day. (especially with the fuss being kicked up by the press)

Well... I can't remember. But I don't think I've ever seen them running in their booked path, typically a few hours early! Like madhattie says they often get back to Bristol around lunchtime, about 2 hours early.
