I'd love to call them atmospheric, but for some reason they look creepy and threatening. Maybe that's just because it's a deserted modern unstaffed station (about as unwelcoming as you can get), or maybe it's because I know who the photographer was. :P

I like creepy and threatening!! I certainly kept one eyeball in the back of my head while taking them. :shock:

:? nothing wrong with filton except fo that ugly place called the mod .Shame they knocked down the old filton station that I knew as a deralict place .

The creepiest thing I ever saw at Filton was long before Abbey Wood station was built. I was shunting in the erstwhile coal yard back in the 80's when a Cardiff - Portsmouth train met a Porstmouth -Cardiff train on the same bit of track. One or other of them had "spadded" on the then single lead junction, but mercifully stopped yards short of each other.
