Hi Frame.

The website that I found is the only thing about the school that I can find, the class photo's are a couple of years before my time at the school but I recognise the teachers.

I was also trying to find something on Greenbank primary school as some of my first memorys of the LMS are from the school because we used to watch the trains going past Greenbank cemetary from the schoolyard.

Have a look at the link at the top of this thread because there are some other good arial photo's of Greenbank from years ago.

If you find anything more then please let me know.

Re Bristolgwr photo of Stapleton road junction.
Just browsing through a pile of books in loft when I found a photo taken from almost same location as Bristolgwr picture. It is in book "the great western railway" "gwr150" published 1995. sadly not a colour photo, but, it shows diesel hydraulic loco hauling The Bristolian express up the bank. What does make the photo special is that a lot of gas works site (a large brick chimney and some gasworks buildings) is visible and ranks upon ranks of houses and sidings both sides of running lines also an ATC ramp very noticable in the right hand track. I dare not scan for copyrite reasons.

Had been browsing on RM web and some kind soul had posted a link to a Pathe newsreel on the demolition of Eastville Viaduct.
