Thanks! Got it now. The white building with three windows are the shops at the start of Stapleton Road and the one just to the right of them with the one window in the roof is the old Stapleton Road Tavern, I am guessing?

Being as the pic is taken from Ashley Down, it seems an odd perspective ... far away things seem very close.

Yes, this is what threw me originally, the steam behind the church in my photo made me think it was much closer to the line out of BTM than it actually is.
