And Pill station site when the trees were chopped down in a military style operation! The locals were most annoyed and vented their anger against the passengers on the Bristol Coalstone Haul special train which used the Portbury branch soon after it was done.

St Werburghs, Mina Road to be exact. About 2003 if I recall correctly.

Ok I stand corrected.... Sorry... I love Bristol but don't live very near. so am not street perfect, I remember the issue and for some reason remember seing that a number of trees were cut down on embankment from Montpelier station towards viaduct. added 2+2 came up with 7 :oops:
