Excellent!

Of course, I've just made my 'to do' pile that much bigger...

But thanks James, nice pics, they'll look good on the websites. :D

Here's my photos of 34067 "Tangmere" and 71000 "Duke Of Gloucester", (plus various other non-steam trains  ) in and around Bristol

http://mostlyrailways.fotopic.net/c557098.html

It was strange how the two steam tours dealt with their stock differently: Tangmere ran round at Bedminster and then took her train via the avoiding line to St Philips Marsh, whereas the Duke left her stock at Temple Meads and reversed through the station, presumably heading for Barton Hill!

Tell me about it...I didn't think I was particularly unfit, but charging around BTM after the Duke really tired me out

Lots of pics of the footbridge near Keynsham, but not many train ones...they all turned out blurred. Whether that was the dull light (cloudy every time I took the camera out, sunny the rest of the day) or just me not understanding the camera I dunno. :?

Looks like a great place to photograph trains, although you do have to hold on when an HST blasts through as the footbridge doesn't half wobble!

Great pics!

Did you walk there from Keynsham station? Looks like quite a walk on the map.

20 mins walk, not far for a young 'un :P Shame there's a bloody great road embankment between the path and the railway.
Alongside the giant Taunton Freight Concentration Depot shed...there's some redevelopment going on round there so it might be under threat. I took that to show the WSR people who I'm hoping might want it. There used to be another one on the opposite side of the tracks outside the old concrete works but it disappeared a few months ago :(
Do you really not know where this is? Looking west from Keynsham!
