Some one has posted on NP that Tornado leaves Cardiff about 12.40. However, I haven't found anything else which might back up that time.

From platform 2 Pilning...I don't think I have ever seen so many people at Pilning as there was today.... counted 42 people on the foot bridge alone.

Cracking shot Richard. I was on the run this morning, goodness knows what the parking was like at Pilning. There was even a traction engine standing by. Will post some shots later. Didn't see too many photographers at Stapleton Road, must be something to do with the sun being in the wrong position. Temple Meads platform ends looked packed.

Yes caused some confusion that as it whistled on its approach, as people speculated it being "Oliver Cromwell going up the Avonmouth Branch" and an "excursion to Severn Beach" was also mentioned... Not quite sure how they got it out of the car park as there was barely room to manouver at all!

At my new fave haunt on its way to Minehead...

Good choice of location.

I tried a couple of shots at Hewish Crossing. The camera, and the cameraman became confused. I had hoped to add another shot but the camera refused to play ball.

Saw this passing through Worle, similar to Pilning, don't think I've seen so many people (and cameras) waiting on the platform.

Mike how did you get on at the crossing was there many people there? Worth a revisit on the Torbay runs?

Went over to Purton (the one on the west side of the Severn) this morning, it was very busy there as well.
