Noticed Bittern was still there today as I passed - bunked into the depot to take some pics before the automatic gates swung shut - just like the old days.... I see from the Steam Tours web site its next outing on 15th ('The Coronation' - KX to Scarborough) has been cancelled but it's still down for 'The Talisman' the following Saturday so presumably it'll be fixed and moved shortly.
The Mid Hants Railway site has some updated news on Bittern, and a short film of the work on the big end.
