Nunney Castle + Bristol Explorer 26/7
Nunney Castle + Bristol Explorer 26/7
Has anyone seen any times for this Saturday's run with Nunney Castle to Bristol via Oxford and Badminton and back? There isn't a time posted on UK Steam, nor was there a time on the Vintage Trains website.
Any good spots for pictures on the run to and run from Bristol?

A few shots from Temple Meads this morning with Nunney Castle. Missed the light engine move through the station.

Could it be the Westinghouse air brake? They can be quite noisey.
Took a couple more shots at Temple Meads this evening. Not the best place to be light wise.

Yes the sun wasn't in the best position and was initially quite hazy and sat directly over the line from Bath.... but cant complain after the last months of no sun it was nice to be out in it!BristleGWR wrote:I opted for the north side of the line near Kelston in the morning thinking that the sun would be more north of the line than south of the line at that time of day, but it wasn't!!
