Water Troughs
For some reason, I was trying to remember where the water troughs were along and near the GWML. I seem to recall Goring, Badminton, St Annes Park, Creech St Michael, Starcross, Savernake, Stonehouse, Magor. Have I missed any / got any wrong?

What about Ferryside on the South Wales route?
I will get there one day, got tons of photos from various decades! I struggle for time nowadays because, since I changed job, I'm up at 4.30am and asleep at about 9.30pm with little time at a computer between those events. (previously I was working at a computer almost the whole day!) But I definitely want to expand the website to cover the Westbury area.hoover wrote:please mr moderator or is this area too far away?

I know not area relevant but to a few of us i expect this is a link to heaven.
There is a section on railways with a film clip showing troughs being laid. For the mining enthusiasts is a section on that as well.
There again you may already know of this site, but just in case.
