Two unrefurbished ex MML sets will be working over the weekends throughout the summer. Once the other three HST's that XC are leasing have been refurbished, the two unrefurbished ones will take their place for refurbishment.
By the start of the December timetable all five XC HST's will be in traffic on the NE/SW corridor.
The Voyager refurbishment program starts in September from which time they will begin to lose their shops and a toilet in favour of more seating.
Two NXEC HST's will be hired in for the peak summer Saturday jobs to Newquay. Staff training on HST's is nearly complete and I'm looking forward to working a proper train once again

In place of the shop there will be more seating and a luggage area with stowage for two bicycles. The trolley, the design of which is not yet finalised, will have a docking area where the current luggage area is in coach F.
The reburbished HST's will have a small buffet area between first class and standard seating.
