Thankyou for posting the photo. It is a trip to Wapping in 1985 and although I was in charge my life long friend who was the booked said"its your turn to drive"and drive I did .Have quite a lot of photos from the 1985 to 1995 which can be posted when my daughter is at home wih me. :D :D

The clearances on the Ashton Swing Bridge look tight. What would have been normal motive power for this line?

There were quite a few trips throughout the summer of 1985 and the same loco also worked to Portishead, its along time ago now but the trips were so good they are worth remebering. :)
