Hello.
Does anyone know the current timetable for trains using the Portishead line under the Suspension Bridge?
Thanks in advance.

As one who used to live in Bristol but doesn't any more, can anyone suggest good vantage points around the Clifton Suspension Bridge for photography, please? And how accessible to a walker?
Probably the best spots would be on the Portway (other side of the river - ST565728) or from the Plimsol roadbridge (ST567722) both of which could be walked easily having parked somewhere like Hotwells. You may need a good telephoto lens to get the best results though.
Other than that there's a footpath that goes through the gorge on the same side as the Portishead branch which allows some reasonable shots of the railway provided you don't mind scrambling around on rocks and through brambles etc.

Thanks - shall take some strong walking shoes when I go. Easter looks good for steam, but prefer 'real' trains! Fond memories of living in Clifton, walking to work and just occasionally seeing an 08 trundling down to Wapping Wharf; waiting a few minutes to watch her go by and risk being told off for being late - showing my age now!
