Have just been looking at this video shot at Llangollen's Star, Steam Gala from this weekend. It shows 11 locos in steam, not sure about whether crowds would turn out for 11 diesels but I wish I had gone to that Gala.

That was a special gala titled "Steel, Steam and Stars" to raise funds for the group building a replica Grange, 6880.
