Cardiff - Gloucester 37s

Post by James »

From WNXX.com:

Gloucester shuttle...
The 09:10 Cardiff to Gloucester today is formed of stock and two Class 37s in top and tail mode utilising 37419 and 37425. It had been noted that these two appeared to be powering together on the Rhymney do yesterday so it is assumed that they have been set up to work in the same fashion as the 37s used last year on the Arriva Settle and Carlisle job.
The full diagram is 2G56 09:10 Cardiff to Gloucester (10:15), 2G61 10:50 Gloucester to Cardiff (11:55), 2G64 13:10 Cardiff to Gloucester (14:15), 2G67 14:45 Gloucester to Cardiff (15:50) after which the 37s will return to the Rhymney circuit. It is understood that the stock is booked for maintenance tomorrow so, this being the case, any further outings will be from the 7th onwards

That's really cool! Pity they're not coming over 'our' way, but excellent news nevertheless.
