A half hour wait at Pilning???

Poor Veps...now I know what people must have felt like watching convoys of steamers being dragged to the scrapyards :(

I'm going to Kent on Saturday to ride on the Veps before they're all disposed of. Latest pictures show they're not even bothering to clean the outsides anymore

A good idea! I read somewhere that they're going to be stopped just as soon as is possible. No fanfare, no announcements, no reprieves and whathaveyou, as soon as the relacement is in place the Veps will be turned off.
