Some excellent photos of Britannia -- well done all concerned -- I knew I'd be able to see some here if I filmed it instead!

I got some reasonable footage as it came through Narroways, despite the strong sun making it a little awkward. Britannia seemed to be labouring a little, up the incline, but what do I know. I'll post my video in a day or so ...

Normally trains have a run at the bank from Bristol Temple Meads. Britannia would have rejoined the main line at Dr. Days Jct. It would then have slewed across to the main at a steady pace until the last coach approached Lawrence Hill station. It would only then have opened up for the climb to Abbey Wood. <BJ>
