Camcorders with a decent zoom and a viewfinder.

I can't get on with my Panasonic SDR-H20. It has a decent zoom (32 x) but I want one with a viewfinder. Just wondered what others use? I've looked around but the cost of camcorders with a viewfinder seems incredible! I found a Panasonic with a viewfinder but a zoom of only 12 x, and that was close to ú1000!
