Hi,
Think this is news- either that or I need to catch up- I've just heard that Network Rail have put selected documents from their archive online- there are five drawings of Temple Meads at

I'm a bit confused by that "image 1" because it isn't what is actually there today, either the frontage of the new station or the old station. It appears to show features from both!
I presume that it is an architect's drawing of what the building will look like, but the road frontage (with passing traffic) and the absence of any train sheds suggests that it is the frontage of the old station. But, of course, there is no clock tower on the old station frontage, only on the new.
Was here a clock tower on the original station that was subsequently removed, I wonder, or is it perhaps an architect's impression of a version that was never actually built?
