Something you don't see every day

Coming through Lawrence Hill at about 6:40 this morning I noticed a Freightliner Class 66 with a coal train standing on the former Avonside Wharf branch.

FLHH still have a lease on the Avonside branch, linked to the 10 year period they served the Waste Transfer Station at the present end of the branch. Suspect the hoppers are linked to their operation of coal ex Portbury which started
July 2007.
