In an effort to cut costs I've decided to relocate the website to a different hosting company. The current one wouldn't let me change my web hosting plan without deleting -everything- and reuploading it all. And that's not just the BRA but a lot of other websites as well. The new hosting company's price is less than a third of the currrent one so it's a no-brainer from a financial point of view.
The website is uploaded and ready to roll on the new server. Some bits, notably the maps, won't work properly until the domain name itself is transferred. There's a time scale of approx two weeks before this will happen. As I can't predict -exactly- when, I think it's fair to say that some bits of the website will simply stop working until I get home from work that particular day and fix it!
As the time approaches THE FORUM WILL BE LOCKED.
Nothing to worry about. As I don't have an exact date for the transferral there's the possibility that one of you guys would post something which will forever be lost as the two databases would be out of sync.
So I shall simply lock it for a few days. You'll have to bear with me when this happens, sorry!
