Times for this run are now up. The diesel arrives from Exeter via Bath at 8.58.

The train leaves with 6024 from Bristol Temple Meads d 09.32 Filton Abbey Wood 09.42 Severn Tunnel Jc 09.59.

It will be touch and go with the light at Pilning, and Cattybrook on the return.

Particularly like pic of ssc in late sunshine.
Why is Tornado being pulled from number of tours? is it being trouble-some or not enough punters to cover cost. Seems like the king gets used for majority of trips. I think it said in my local paper that Duke may have been used instead of Tornado for carmarthen trip.

Tornado was taken out of service a couple of months ago following discovery of a number of cracked firebox stays.
The Duke is currently out of service due to a broken spring/wheel flat.
