On here: http://www.skylineaviation.co.uk/buses/events.html it says there is in the listings, but if yuou then follow the link it takes you to a list of rallies upon which this one doesn't appear!

It also says "in conjunction with the Avon Valley Railway" so presumably there are a few members on this site with more knowledge of what's going on than me :)

It's on the events tab of AVR's Website:

AVR website wrote:Bus Rally
Now in its fourth year the Vintage Bus Rally provides the visitor with a rare opportunity to see and travel on a number of different forms of heritage transport in one day.

Organised jointly by the Avon Valley Railway and the Bristol Vintage Bus Group, the focus of the event will be a static display of vintage buses at the Brislington Park and Ride site, just off the A4 between Bristol and Bath. This will also be the main parking site for visitors on the day, which is free.

From there, vintage buses will provide a free bus service to the Bristol Vintage Bus GroupÆs premises at Flowers Hill, as well as the Avon Valley Railway at Bitton. The railway will be operating an intensive steam train service, linking with scenic boat trips along the River Avon from Avon Riverside platform.

Prices
Participation in the bus rally is free, fares for train rides & boat trips are at the usual amount.

As we are already slightly off subject there are some fine shots of Bristol's Buses in the British Transport Films "Work in Progress". For Bristolians some of the footage is quite nostalgic the relevant section is at about 14 minutes. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?doc ... 6722026209#

Evening folks,

I used to own this one - my website is rather out of date, but I cannot do anything about it as I no longer use that ISP!
