Many thanks for all your insights, I had wondered, considering I pound up and down Fishponds bank on the bike, whether a clase 37 would have growled over the top considering there would have been many based in South Wales at the time although assigned to the Cardiff Valleys ? Again its down to route ...

Hoping any of you out there can recall the working timetable for passenger trains between Bristol TM and Mangotsfield ie. departure

Westerleigh OT

Good day all, just thought i'd clear up this debate as I think things have been over exaggerated!
Firstly I must agree though regarding those who park in a car park which is clearly marked private and considering there is one for visitors just across the road out of harms way. And you must surely be ...

Commuting

If the line was still open from Mangotsfield to Bristol or Bath, having lived in the Mangotsfield area for the last 39 years I believe alot more people
would use the service than people think. I commute to town by push bike which takes 20 mins and compared with the car...the wife takes 30 mins on ...

71000

Hello all,

First post from me but been an avid reader for years!

Having heard 71000 was running late I didn't have long to hang around so went to Filton AW to film it which is a suprisingly good location to film coming off the junction (for noise). It was held for almost 15 minutes waiting for a ...
