Royal Mail facility BTM

Does anyone know what are the plans for the derelict Royal Mail facility at Temple Meads. I was looking at it tonight and absorbing the forlorn state of the area south of the station including the Bath Road depot site and the pub. Thanks.

Last night a Network Rail working entered BTM - can anyone enlighten me as to its load. It consisted of two bogie flats with a total of 3 tanks and 3 groups of boxed equipment (at least two appeared to contain generators) Livery was blue and the tanks marked 'non-hazardous'. The wagons were ...

That's all very interesting. Still getting know the area - Flax Bourton station this afternoon or at least the remnants. Looking forward to trains running again towards the Severn - will it be like freeing a dammed river with a torrent of trains passing as the pressure is released - perhaps not!

Freight workings to Avonmouth or Portesbury Docks
