Sorry, absolutely right it is Fishponds bank. It's just that I lived in Greenbank and always called it that.

Regarding the Jubilee's. There is a good shot of one passing Kingswood Junction below. Not a photograph I've seen before but very interesting.

Hi Frame.

The website that I found is the only thing about the school that I can find, the class photo's are a couple of years before my time at the school but I recognise the teachers.

I was also trying to find something on Greenbank primary school as some of my first memorys of the LMS are from ...

Am I right in saying that there was a loop from the LMS line from Kingswood junction where it passes into the gas works, then runs through the gas works and then takes a left turn back onto the GWR line headng towards Stapleton Road station?

Fantastic pictures but also very sad,if only someone had a little think back then as to what the solution to the current traffic problems could be.

Would'nt it be great to still see railway traffic running through Easton,Fishponds and Staple Hill today,I am sure that these stations would be busy ...

I went on these trips back in the late sixties and early seventies.
The first 4 days you had fixed destinations so that you had to know where you were going to,but on the Friday it was always a mystery tour.
I remember ending up at Newquay in Cornwall and somewhere in north Wales on a few Fridays ...
