The guest loco is 0-6-0 J15 65462 with the kind permission of the M&GN Joint Railway Society.

5521 will be hauling 3 chocolate and cream coaches on the local service on Sunday 12th August.
31130 will be hauling the maroon set on Sunday as we are running two trains.
First train will be 10.25a.m.

Which raises the question - before the curve was put in, where did the Monkey Specials reverse? Stoke Gifford? Or maybe even Stapleton Road or TM?

Later this week Class 31 31 130 Calder Hall Power Station should arrive at Bitton for a 5year period.
The locomotive is owned by the Suburban Preservation Group and is in Railfreight Coal livery.

Due to operational requirements Diesel Class 07 D2994 will not operate services on the above date.
Services will be operated by Class 107 DMU to timetable B

There is more tram track and can be seen in the car park of Gloucester Road Medical centre,Horfield.
The address is Tramway House, 1a Church Road, Horfield.
It was a planning consent condition that the tram tracks where kept as it was part of the Horfield tram depot(Ashley Down terminus)

I have a rather dark picture of 9F 92247 on the turntable at Barrow Road which I took which unfortunately is undated

The picture of Henbury station is certainly in the printed edition of BEP to night. The one of North Filton platform was in earlier in the week.

4247 passed its boiler exam today, so will be hauling the passenger service on Sunday to timetable A. Sometime next week it will be off to Bodmin.

We have another visiting loco arriving today and will be running our normal timetable on the above date. This is an additional day to our published timetable.
The loco is GWR tank 2-8-0 4247.

Colin Maggs will be at Bitton station on Saturday 15th October between 12.00 - 3.00pm signing his new book Bristol & Bath Railway.

We shall be running two passenger trains.One hauled by Jessie and the other by 1369.
