56xx class locos

These locos at SPM were mainly used on the Avonmouth and Stoke Gifford diagrams also transfer work Avonmouth to West Depot I have no record of any of these locos working over the Radstock branch I remember that we had daytime diagram Avonmouth to Stoke Gifford in the Plymouth link. Hope this helps ...

If you study the up line curvature coming down from the cutting to the signal which will having taken you to the up loop the next box being West Depot signal box. The photo looks like it was taken from the foot bridge which is still in situ PS Was always glad to see that signal ...

The Network train

When I was reqired to work on that guaging train as its inspector, ,it was known as Dracular as it only ran at night.From the strange machine in the middle there would be a very bright flash of light when guaging . :roll:

Good grief can any one tell where the network management worked before going on to the railway The severn beach line continued to work all the time snow fell from 1963 onwards they must have worked in a non do any thing job with management like that there is no hope for a proper railway :lol:

I have known Wayne since he started work on the railway and a better one could not have met. When I was driving and needed information he was the one to ask I shook his hand yesterday. By the way not only a good railman he is quite a good artist as well . :D for him.

speen stoping at stations

When i was doing driver training on the 158 class a cardiff inspector told me it could be i said rubbish and we failed to stop at nailsea. no more mentione of that nonsence :lol: :arrow: stoping at a 60mph approach to a station.

To get you up the steep hills ie; St Michaels Hill, Park Street, The Wells rd they will all be fitted with moving pavements. Bet the brilliant councilors have not thought that one out. "I HAVE" :) :) :) ONLY JOKING.
