Malago Vale Carriage Sidings

An undated picture of the south end of Malago Sidings. Looks like two Peaks were in the process of running around some stock. I've no idea of the date, but it's before MAS signalling replaced the semaphores.

The footbridge had been considerably shortened in order to fit in with the housing estate, and the staircase was a temporary one made from scaffolding.

4 years later the 'temporary' nature of the footbridge was still to be addressed.

The housing estate was finished. The buffer stop was still in place.

Anti-vandal caging had been added to the bridge, which had also received a rough coat of paint.
