History
Combe Down tunnel is 1,829 yards long. The whole tunnel is on a gradient of 1 in 100, climbing towards Bath Green Park, and at a mile long is the longest railway tunnel in the UK without a ventilation shaft. It is currently owned by Wessex Water.
