Weston Milton

To Bristol
the previous seriesMoor Road & Worle Junction
To Weston Super Mare
the next seriesHutton Moor Road

Opened on the 3rd July 1933 as Weston Milton Halt. It became plain old Weston Milton on the 5th May 1969. The line through the station was singled in 1972 and the down platform was moved to Lymstone Commando Station on the Exmouth branch. The station was refurbished in 1983 at a cost of £30,000 when a brick shelter and extra car parking were added.

All pictures by Andrew Ross. Many thanks to him :)

weston milton car park

Weston Milton carpark in May 2005. Until February this station would have had five or six cars at most parked here but then Wessex introduced carparking charges at Worle and suddenly Weston Milton became a popular location.
