Announcements around the new timetable starting today have made a big issue of non-stop services being reintroduced between London and Bristol. Browsing though NR's Journey Planner does show a handful of off-peak fast services covering the run to TM in around 1hr 20m which is impressive. The non-stop element appears to be from Paddington down to Parkway. There are two pinch points in the final leg, namely Parkway itself and Bristol East Junction. It will be interesting to see how it works out.
