Good morning everyone,
Do any of you have any images, or know of links that show the area of Filton Coal Yard from before the main lines were reduced from four to two tracks?.
Thanks in advance.
Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

My uncle was a coal merchant in the 1970's . I remember going with him to the yard, think they had their own shunter. I know he has some pics but the question is where. I'll ask and see if he has any I can scan.

Are you on Facebook? The Bristol Railway Enthusiasts Group has some photos taken at Filton by Mike Goodfield of class 22s at Filton in the 1960s.
I know Mike posted these elsewhere and they were subsequently lost when the site closed (fotopic possibly)
cheers

Yes, I'm on Facebook, and a member of that group
I don't recall seeing any clear shots showing the track layout there though.
Very Best Wishes,
Bob.
