I started to watch the Bristol to Mangotsfield one just after you posted the link last year, but as they depicted only stills and no film I gave up after a few images.

Last night I watched it right through and was surprised to find a couple of my images in it! (82004 at Staple Hill and D70 at Mangotsfield)

Whilst I have got no problem with them appearing, especially as no-one is likely ro be making any money out of posting them on Youtube, it would have been nice to havee been asked...

Hello again. I fully understand your point. However I have no connection with whoever posted the clips on Youtbe, I just stumbled across them whilst searching under "Bristol area railways".

No problem - and I wasn't suggesting it was you, just making an observartion!

And it's not just me. There are a number of others in that clip that I have seen before, and most of them on Flickr.

There was a case a couple of years ago when I was taking a walk along the Bristol to Bath Railway Path and stopped at the west end of Mangotsfield station having a fag break, when a bloke came up to me to show me some glossy images of the station from the 50s and 60s that he was passing off as his own. He seemed a bit put out when I told him that I'd seen most of them before, and in some cases could tell him who the photographer was.

But at lease he'd gone to the trouble of priniting them on good quality photograhic paper to help him live out his fantasies
