For anyone who is confused, in the late 1960's the Gainsborough Model Railway Club were commissioned to build an O gauge model railway for a scene in the film 'Only When I Larf'. I happened to spot that a certain someone had posted on another forum last year that he has been looking out for it to be shown on TV after more than 50 years. I hope he doesn't miss it!

Talking Pics tend to repeat films, so just watch the schedules for it's next showing. It doesn't appear in the listings up to the `4th January though.

Thanks for the tip-off. I did see it and I thought it was a bit of a let-down. The model railway featured only briefly and there was no sign of the crash.

I agree Andy. I recorded it and fast forwarded approx 30 minutes to the model railway scene. I carried on to the end hoping that it would return to cover the crash scene but to no avail. Might watch the whole thing when I have nothing else to do.
