Cane branch 1964 timetable

Post by Robin Summerhill »

I haave now posted the final timetable for the Calne branch to Flickr, together with a collection of tickets from the line I bought in 1965 and a more recent shot of what is left of Stanley Bridge Halt

Errr....I can see a photo of Black Dog Halt, but not one of Stanley Bridge Halt (nothing of which seemed to remain when I was last there a few year ago).

That post was clearly one of my most poorly-proof-read posts. Not only is it Black Dog and not Stanley Bridge, but I have been waiting for somebody to post asking where the Cale branch was!

And yes youÔÇÖre right, there is nothing left of Stanley Bridge Halt

Definitely need a coat this morning if you were planning to park yourself on a barrow at the end of a platform for a bit of spotting. Happy days!
