Special which visited goods only lines
Can anybody recall a special train which, probably on a weekend, visited various lines around Bristol not usually open for passenger services? It was possibly at least 20 years ago, I was on it, but can't recall exactly where we went, though I have memories of being on the line to Portishead (as far as you could go) and also north of Bristol, stopping near a quarry.

Ah, good call! Fairly sure it was this one in 2007: https://www.sixbellsjunction.co.uk/00s/070603nr.htm
I think you could perhaps buy tickets for certain segments or maybe you could opt out of some journeys, because although I recall Portbury, Tytherington & Severn Beach, I have no memory of Bath, or Lydney/Gloucester. Then again, 2007 seems a while ago.
Thanks again!
