Watering locos in Bristol Old Station?
About a year ago, a GWR iron water tower with tank was offered for sale, subject to collection from a site in Winterbourne. It was apparently from the Old Station. I didn't pay it much attention at the time, but more recently have wondered whether the were watercranes serving each platform road and the two centre roads?

I googled Bristol Temple Meads Old Station and eventually found a photo of 82004 at the front of a 3 coach train in the departure side platform no.14.
It clearly shows a water crane on the platform just outside of the train shed. Can't see enough of the arrival side platform and no idea about the through lines. Nor is there any sign of where the water tower might have been.
Edited 08/06/20. Arrival side platform was 12/13. Departure side 14/15.

Thank you, very well found! Your googling was clearly more thorough than mine.
As there's no sign of a tank in photos I've so far seen of the interior, I wondered whether it could have been against / above outside the wall adjacent to the docks line. The aerial photo at www.alextrack.co.uk/railways/signalling ... raphs.html would suggest not... but it does leave me wondering why the fourth roof panel on that side juts out further than the others. It doesn't look far enough along to provide shelter to the signal box.
