Gloucester to Swindon 1964 timetable

In case anybody is interested I have posted a scan of the 1964 Gloucester to Swindon timetable on Flickr, illustrated with a photograph of one of the Chalford auto trains

This was of course the last timetable in which the intermediate stations were open. From 2nd November 1964 only Stonehouse, Stroud and Kemble were left as intermediate stations on the line.

Gloucester to Hereford will be the next upload, once I get an illustration from someone who has agreed to let me use his photograph

I have also updated the Cardiff to Stratford scan by inclufing a photo of passenger trains actually using the Cheltenham to Honeybourne section in 1968 (diversions rather than scheduled services over the route)

I was able to travel the Cheltenham-Stratford line in 1972 on a Sunday afternoon DMU excursion - fare 60p.
Also around that time my cousin was at a teacher training college in Cheltenham and was living in an ex-railway cottage on the approach to Winchcombe station; we visited several times but only once did a train go by while we were there.
